5Great AutoCAD Book - Highly Recommended  Feb 02, 2009 By Nathan A. Schaming "natescham"
I have been looking for a good AutoCAD book for a while to refresh my skills. I learned AutoCAD 2000 in High School, but it has been a while since I have used the program and I needed a book to refresh my memory. I have looked at quite a few AutoCAD books and they are also reference books for the commands that do not have any practical exercises or examples.
This book is different. It has plenty of examples along with the commands which is much better for refreshing my memory of AutoCAD. It is also easy to follow, but not so easy to follow its boring or feels like it drags on too long.
So if you are new to AutoCAD or looking for a book to refresh your memory like I was, this is the book to buy and read. Also, once you are done with this book, or are beyond this skill level, you should check out the Advanced AutoCAD book by the same author, which is structured the same, but with more advanced examples and commands.

4beginner's book  Apr 05, 2008 By Michael Beloved
This is good for beginners and is the best thing I saw so far. Lessons are spaced in a gradual progression, which is perfect for beginners.
